It was our first time of rv trip and overall we were happy with this rv except some minor problems of inside facilities. Dan was very kind but was not very responsive during our trip. We cannot compare this rv with others but we can say this rv is good enough based on our experience.

Dan was great to deal with. Cool guy and an awesome camper. The camper is great on fuel and very comfortable. We were 3 adults and had plenty of room to sleep. We had so much fun and hope to do it again next year!

Dan was a good host. We really enjoyed the vehicle and it was in great shape for the trip. The pick up was smooth and the return was as well. There was some jostling of the bumper that occurred. We were able to come to a fair resolution and we appreciate Dan's understanding and cooperation. Would definitely recommend Dan and his rig to anyone.

This was our first time renting and everything was perfect. Don was quick to answer any messages that we sent him and a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t get over how efficient the mileage and propane were. We’d definitely rent again!

We rented this RV from 1 - 15 August, 2020 and drove over 3000km through Ontario and Quebec as a family of four with a young dog. We were first-time RVers. Overall, everything went well. The RV is easy to drive and handles well. It is well-equipped and the systems functioned well. We resorted to reading the manuals a couple of times to confirm procedures (and these are detailed / answered all of our questions). The RV is showing some signs of wear and tear, but Dan reassured us that the systems were in working order and we would have no difficulties. Minor issues with rear tail lights and engine lights did not cause us problems. Dan was responsive at all stages of the rental process - answering questions before we rented, showing us the RV when we picked it up, and concluding the rental when we returned. There are only a few things missing from the kitchen supplies, pending how much cooking you will do in the RV. We prepared almost all meals in the RV given COVID. We could have used another frying pan, a measuring cup, and a couple of other small gadgets (easily purchased at a dollar store). We brought most of our own bedding, towels, and linens (though Dan indicated he had these available as well). We would rent this RV again and wish Dan and his family continued best of luck with RV EZY.

This RV is a well-designed and user-friendly unit. It is ideal for 2 people but easily accommodates four. It has everything you need for an enjoyable trip. The diesel engine is strong, reliable and very fuel efficient. We averaged 11.5L/100kms. The owner is very responsive, accommodating and helpful. He took the time to explain and show how to operate and enjoy his RV. I recommend this RV and will definitely consider it again for another trip.

This was my first time using an RV and driving a front wheel drive vehicle as big as this so I don’t have any comparable experience to base a “technical” review of the RV on. That said -we enjoyed the RV overall and found it comfortable. Great fuel economy with the diesel - 13.1 litres/100kms. Dan is easy to deal with and I’d say a fairly laid back owner so it was nice to deal with someone that wasn’t uptight about the the RV. The biggest annoyance I had with the RV was the screen door not having a latch/handle to open it from inside the RV - you have to slide a cover on the door to the side to grab the latch and if you forget to slide the cover back bugs can get in. But as I said, it was my first RV trip and maybe all RV doors are like that and I’m just not used to it. Main thing was that everything worked on the RV and we had a good time.

Great rv with excellent gas milleage, we did a average 12.8l/100km on a 2 800km trip. The floorplan is perfect for 2 couples or a family with 2 kids. The owner was really pleasant to deal with. 5/5

First the good. I found Dan on RVEzy as one of the few people that will allow you to tow a trailer with their RV. Although this RV has limited towing capacity (2000lbs), it met out needs. I was also happy about the reported fuel mileage of his RV. It turned out that I averaged 13.6l/100km while towing a small UHaul trailer. Very impressive for a 24’ RV. We drove almost 10,000km and spent less than $1500 on fuel. Then the bad. When I received the RV, it was very dirty - the cabinets were sticky, there were dead bugs stuck to the ceiling and the toilet was covered with “splatter”. We spent three hours cleaning the RV and unloading the old food and excess stuff from the RV before we could load our stuff and leave. Having had to pay a $100 cleaning fee, we weren’t impressed with how dirty it was. I informed the owner of this, and was told they cleaned it. I wasn’t offered a refund of my cleaning fee. They got the RV back cleaner than it was when we received it. When I went to hook up the trailer, I found that the right turn signal on the wiring harness wasn’t working. I called Dan and he told me he didn’t know we were towing something (even though it was in the history of our online conversation). I had to take the RV to a mechanic to see if they could figure it out, further delaying our trip and causing me mileage overage charges. Upon turning on the propane, the smell of propane in the RV was overwhelming. It dissipated eventually but was disconcerting to say the least. Dan was aware of this prior to renting the RV but had not had it repaired. I told him about it again when I returned it and he said he’d have to have it looked at. When we got on the road, immediately the tire pressure light came on, resulting in me having to stop to add air to the tires. The right front valve cover was rusted on and I couldn’t remove it. The right rear tire had a slow leak, causing me to have to pump it up every few days. I didn’t want to bother the owner with this issue and informed him when I returned the RV. The first time I emptied the grey and black water tanks, the gate on the grey water tank wouldn’t work. I pulled the handle, it extended but the gate wouldn’t move and the housing started leaking. After much messing around, I was able to open the grey water gate enough to drain it. I had to do this every day. Dan seemed to be aware of this when I told him. There is a rear view camera in the drivers compartment as it’s not possible to see immediately behind the RV. There is obviously a short in the wire somewhere as it would turn itself off when I hit a bump in the road or for no apparent reason would switch inputs. Sometimes it would work for hours and sometimes it would turn off every couple of minutes. The bathroom ceiling vent leaked during the rain. The generator wouldn’t keep running when I first tried it. It would run for about a minute and then stop. Dan explained how to reset it and then it was fine. One other thing that renters should be aware. The 30a cables that is attached to the RV to hook to shore power is short. This isn’t a criticism, just information for future renters. I ended up having to buy a 30amp extension cable after our first night stop at an Ontario Provincial Park. At a minimum, bring an extension cord with you, so at least you can run off 110... My general impression is that this RV needs some maintenance if the owner is going to rent it for the price he’s asking. I understand that RVs take a beating on the roads, it only has 92000km on it, but there are many minor issues with it. And if you rent this RV, please ensure you tell the owner about every minor issue you have with it, or else you may get stuck with having to pay for repairs that you didn’t cause. One final note. We were the victim of a hit and run accident in Alberta. Luckily I was able to get turned around and found the other driver down a side street inspecting the damage to his truck. Police investigated and he was charged. The insurance company finally agreed that we wouldn’t have to pay deductible on the insurance policy that comes with the rental.
