About Rich

Hi, my name is Rich and I'm a big fan of the open road. Our family of five—along with our Irish Setter, Riley—recently returned from the adventure of a lifetime: a 15,000 km trek up the Alaska Highway. It was an amazing experience that created memories we will carry for the rest of our lives. It also showed us just how capable and reliable "Big Betty White" is. Our original plan was to sell the RV as soon as we got back from that epic trip. But after living in it for two months and seeing how much fun we had, we just couldn't let her go! We’ve decided to keep the adventure alive by renting her out to other families between our own local escapes. When I’m not on the baseball diamond coaching youth league, I’m usually focused on keeping the RV in peak mechanical condition. We’ve updated the interior with residential flooring and high-end furniture so it feels more like a home and less like a "camper." I love sharing my favorite Ottawa-area travel tips and helping other families discover the freedom of the RV lifestyle.
