About Alix

We had a great time in the trailer. Could’ve used a mirror for the bathroom and spatula for the frying pans and a stirring spoon and colander for the kitchen. We had 3 kids in the bunk beds and collapsed the table for the smallest child. Adult bed is too big for the frame so it hangs over and gives quite an awkward sleep or maybe we just needed to level the trailer a bit more? Kurtis was very helpful and flexible dropping off and picking it up on Hornby island and provided a generator which was life saving when the temps soared above 35 and we could pump the AC during “generator” hours. We only used the toilets for nights and kept lights to a minimum when needed them before bed. Overall good experience as it was our first time in a trailer and really loved having a fridge and freezer especially when the island ran out of ice for several days.. Had we been in our tent as we usually camp we would have never lasted. So appreciated our time in the trailer.

This was a really great choice for us for a 3 night camping trial with our 5 and 2 year olds--kids slept well in the bunks, which already had blackout curtains! It was nice not having to swap over the dining table for a bed every night, and to have the space to hang inside when the wet weather got to be a bit much. Battery not holding a charge and generator restrictions at the Campsite made things tricky, but I trust Alix is on top of the necessary battery fix. She and her partner were a pleasure to work with and really easygoing, great communication. Would definitely book again. Thanks a million!
