Great trailer and Phong was lovely to deal with!!

Trailer was dirty when we picked it up. We were asked to clean it and take it to a car wash after camping only to have the owner keep the $60 cleaning fee. We returned the unit on the 18th but had to wait on the owner to complete his portion on the return service on the 24th. Cheaper is not always better. I won’t rent from this owner again.

Good holiday

Everything works well on the trailer and it is easy to tow. The owner is helpful and thorough. We would rent again from Phong.

The owner was very helpful. The interior of the unit was very dirty upon pick up and we had to spend a couple of hours cleaning it when we got to the campground.

Phong is great to deal with. The trailer is clean and have all the amenities that we need for a great camping trip. Pick up and drop off time is flexible and I will definitely rent from him again

Phonger was hilarious. Experience started off with a slight hiccup when he didn’t realize I had booked, but we got it straightened away with no delays. Trailer is in great shape and is great for 2 people or a small family of 4. Phong was thorough with the trailer’s operations which was great for a first-timer like myself. Very flexible on pick-up and drop off which was another huge plus. Thanks Phong

Phuong showed us all the steps to RV rental and potential ownership

We had a nice family camping trip with this trailer. I've rented a bunkhouse trailer many times and I assumed this one had two bunk beds, but it doesn't. I didn't read the description, but the photos don't really show enough detail. Instead of bunk beds you get a huge bathroom with tub, sink and vanity. The slide out with convertible bed is large enough for our 8 and 10 year old though. Very clean Phong installed a lot of wall hooks that were very handy. There is a decent amount of storage. Fridge is a good size. The stove doesn't auto light so bring a lighter. Linens and queen bed was comfy, although it wasn't a thick mattress. Anti-sway bars were the chain type and easy to install and hitch up. Phong was very nice and flexible with pick up and drop off. I didn't have to drive way outside of town either Another bonus was a trailer had its own hitch and Phong has a 2-bike carrier. We brought our own bike rack, but the trailer hitch was handy. We are regular campers so we have a couple bins of essentials cookware, utinsels, etc. that we always bring with us. Be sure to pack some of your own stuff.

We rented Phong's RV for a August long weekend trip to Banff (originally also planned for Jasper but had to cancel that due to forest fire) for our family of 4. The overall experience was very good. The trailer provided everything that we needed and worked without any issues. Phong was very responsive through SMS and provided alot of advice. Phong's english is a bit rough and there were some difficulties in communication, but if you exercise some patience it should be fine. He's a very good guy.

The camper suited our needs because we were in a powered site. The battery did not have enough power to roll in the awning unless it was plugged into either the truck or shore power. This camper suffered from a lack of maintenance. Someone previously used regular toilet paper and therefore emptying the black tank was difficult. There were a few broken bits inside. When I mentioned all these things to Phong, he said he would address them.

The trailer was perfect for two people. Make sure you bring everything you need, not a lot provided.

Trailer was not clean upon arrival, poor communication about pickup and what was included in the trailer, return was a point of frustration.

Not a good experience

Experience was not good from start to finish. Host is doing this as a trailer rental business but is not knowledgeable on trailers or operating a trailer. Water unsafe to drink from trailer. Full review as follows: -Trailer advertised as Calgary but located in Strathmore, 45mins away -Trailer not clean upon arrival. Had to clean before use, though host refunded by cleaning fee later -Our site was un-serviced, so prior to booking I asked if fridge was propane, and host stated that yes it was. Upon arrival, it was discovered fridge was electric. While host lent me a generator, it was big hastle as I had to be on our campsite during the limited generator hours. -Solar is only 200 watts which is under spec for all the power items. Only one battery so we were battling low power between generator hours. -Got to campsite at 11pm. Went to wash my hands and and red antifreeze can out as trailer had not been de-winterized yet. Assuming the fresh water had not been sanitized, we didn't drink water from the trailer Spent my first morning figuring out how to do that on youtube. Host was unresponsive when I notified him of the issue. Hot water never worked. -Septic drain tube was haphazardly wrapped in a poor plastic bag and black septic residue water was contaminating the stowaway area, so couldn't use that for much. -Upon returning the trailer, host insisted I do a second septic drain at the storage facility. OK fine, except in that process I observed the Host putting non-potable water in the fresh water tank. Bad operator, stay away.

Worst RV rental experience- i was bothered by txt “how my trip is?” I had an unexpected family situation and brought back the trailer a day earlier, and owner said he would prorate it but never did. Fridge was dirty, tv never worked and was told to not touch things left it in. Not a good experience. Do not recommend renting.
