Evan M.Sep 2020The Old Gal and her owners were great to deal with. Really nicely maintained inside and out. Cozy and comfortable for our family of four. Had to boost the battery once at the start of the trip but after that the solar was totally sufficient.
Brock M.Aug 2020Janel and Murray are grest hosts. The Old Gal has some character, but she's been treated well and should get you there slowly but surely! We had a great trip with her. Our only complaint was that she gets hot and doesnt have AC, so plan for somewhere to cool off if you have a long drive on a hot day.

Battery died a couple times, we think due to the cold weather and the furnace fan running lots, but it was easy enough to boost. Very clean and stocked full of essentials. Also in great shape for being over 40 years old. Would definitely rent the Old Gal again!- Sharon S.Sep 2019We rented the Old Gal for a family reunion on the September long weekend. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Motorhome is immaculately clean, with the coolest vintage decor, and comes fully stocked with all the essentials - dishes, linens, etc. Janel and her husband took time to explain how everything worked and anytime we had a question, it was promptly answered. If I would make one recommendation to anyone renting, it would be just to take your time and give yourself a lot of extra time to get where you're going, as obviously she's a little slower than the typical highway traffic, which is to be expected.
Michael C.Aug 2019Pictures don't do The Old Gal justice; she's an absolute treasure. It's remarkable that it's been kept in such great shape. At the campground we were at, people were ignoring the million dollar motorhomes for a look inside this 1970s classic. We didn't once require a generator since the solar power was more than adequate. The owners did a wonderful job of going over functions and facilities with us beforehand and were extremely pleasant to deal with. Lindsey F.Jun 2019This was an unreal experience. Jane was SO helpful and great at answering any questions we had. Everything was squeaky clean and comfortable. The blackout curtains were a great bonus. I would hands down recommend renting this beauty. We will for sure be renting it again. We have a 3 and a 1 year old and they were gutted when we came home and want to live in it. Thanks Jane!
