- kendra D.Aug 2019The individual managing the pick up and drop off was great. Friendly, flexible - very stress free experience. The stress kind of came with the rig itself. It's just an older motor home that needs a bit of TLC. For ~$900 for 3 days, I expected some features to be in working order and cleanliness. I'm a clean freak so right away I was disappointed to discover the refrigerator was not clean. Floors. Cupboards. I cleaned the fridge/freezer/stove. I washed the floors. The cupboards were so full of everything I never wanted to imagine, I tried to put it out of mind. I didn't have a shop vac to deal with that. So let's start from the beginning. AC never worked - it was 40 degrees that weekend. Windows open down the road for 2 hours. Ok fine, but even at that, it was bloody hot. When we arrived to our destination, Terry was smoking out of the radiator pretty badly. Wondered if we'd make it home?? Cupboards wouldn't stay shut in transit, windows were falling out of the frame. She was pretty rattly. The oven would work if you hit it the right way and the propane situation made me nervous on account of everything being so dated. There was a good leak under the sink and it oozed a very yellow stream out onto the floor. It was nasty. The last day the kitchen sink faucet completely blew off and sailed past my head - that was a heart stopper. Shower leaked. Again, a yellow stream coming from the bathroom, not pleasant. Sheets were too small for the mattress in the back. We wrestled it in there, but it was a fight. The water in the tank was very sulfuric - tough to wash up with. Water leaked out of the exterior valve when in transit. There were only eating utensils but nothing else to cook with - a spatula might be helpful. Just washing every dish in there before use and making sure not to contaminate anything with the toilet smelling water was a lot of work. A lot of money was put out. It was a lot of extra work and stress. I would not do it again to be honest and I feel really bad for the review because I think the gentlemen involved mean well. They are part of a charitable organization but at the end of the day, business is business and I work hard for my money too.
- Tyran A.Jul 2019Terry is an older motorhome but was easy to handle on the road and get to our campsite. Unfortunately we had some issues with the RV once setup but Jack was quick to respond by driving out to try and fix them on the spot at our campsite. Both he and John (who handled the check-in) were very friendly and professional.
- Gary F.Jul 2019The booking and picking up of the RV was great and John who met us when we picked it up was very friendly and helpful. It made our weekend stress free. I would definitely recommend booking it to others.
