About Minh

We had rented an Rv with Minh but he cancelled us 9 days prior to us leaving due to the Rv coming back damaged and he had to put in an insurance claim to get it fixed. We found Minh had another Rv the 2013 Itasca Reyo and it was available to rent on the days we needed so we rented it. Minh let us pick it up a day earlier than what we booked, which was great. He messaged me the day before we picked up the Rv and said the refrigerator was not getting cold. I told him we will use Ice chest then. He did give us one also. We noticed the door to refrigerator was broken and was held together with a screw ( It fell off getting on a on ramp and hit Moms leg ) We also notice a leak in the back and Minh said he overfilled the tank. The driver side Mirror had tape on it to hold it. Rv seemed to be a little dirty but we cleaned it before we left the next day on our trip and when we returned it we gave it back cleaner than he gave to us. On our first night of us leaving the air conditioner wasn't working very well wasn't getting cold and about 6 and half hour into driving we heard a strange rubbing and a pop we pulled over and the exhaust had fallen and broke supports and rubbed against the inner tire and popped it. We had to call for Roadside assistants to bring another tire and put it on. We had to pay upfront $1174.80 to get it fixed. We were in the middle of now where. Tire guy couldn't fix the exhaust because they don't do that (His words) and we had to call back to roadside assistant and they didn't know who to call for that so we ended up finding someone over the internet a 24 hour roadside mechanic he fixed it but it cost us another $400. From the bent and rusty exhaust tip and deep scratches on the outside storage door above the exhaust we believe this issues we had were preexisting and was not fixed properly prior to us renting the Rv. Through our whole trip we had issues with this Rv Generator did not work. The air conditioner and microwave did not work unless you plugged in the RV. Stove did not work and when we tried to light it there was a very strong smell of propane outside the door so we couldn't cook the food we brought and the table to eat on we couldn't use because it was to wobbly which he told us the day we picked up Rv . Restroom holding tank was not treated before we left we had to buy the treatment. No hot water couldn't shower had to get hotels to shower. On our way back the window wouldn't roll up ( Minh said it was a fuse and he tried to change it but it still didn't work a preexisting issue) the front end shimming kept getting more violent when we pulled over for fuel and looking under the RV the front passenger inner tire was bald so we had to get a hotel and get it fixed in the morning costing us another $200 for the tire plus another room. When we returned the RV and told Minh everything he told us he would give us a full refund. Didn't say he would pay for the cost of the repairs just give us a full refund and call it even. We said we would think about it. Then he changed his mind 2 days later and said he was putting in insurance claims and said he would not be issuing the refund for anything. He messaged us and told us the insurance is asking us to explain what happened and he asked what did we hit or run over. We told him when we came back this happened while we were driving on interstate 40 and the exhaust fell causing some of these issues and it was from a previous damage he had with it and wasn't fixed. We did not hit or run over anything. We rented this Rv because we have a Handicap Daughter that has had 2 strokes in the past 3 years and is not able to fly. We went to look for a new home out of state. With all these issues we miss some appointment's that couldn't be rescheduled. It was a very irritating trip having to deal with all this and now we are dealing the insurance claims. It was dangerous for us to be driving this Rv under these conditions and Minh knew it.
