Rented the RV for a family reunion and chose this RV as it had an onboard generator, had issues with the generator that were resolved but took over an hour of troubleshooting and once we got it working the generator quit as there was no oil level in it. ( should be full in my opinion when we got the RV). There was oil so after a top up we were good to go! Picked up the RV and did a quick walk through and didn’t check the cleanliness too closely, once we got it home and were loading our gear aboard we found that it was quite dirty and also found mouse droppings in the plates and bowls(owner gave us a $20 refund??? Not enough in our eyes) also had to wipe down the rest of the RV and sweep. Do a good cleanliness check if you are renting this unit before taking it! The motorhome ran well other than the AC or fan not working, was informed of this issue when we picked it up so nothing we could do as we needed to leave that day, I requested a refund with no success yet! The RV is fun to drive and was reliable to get us there and back. For the cost of the rental, everything should be in working order and topped up. Being told something doesn’t work when doing the walk through is a cop out and not good business to me. Definitely won’t be renting again!

Vehicle Inspection & Return Summary: I returned this vehicle within 24 hours of pickup because it was not roadworthy and, in my opinion, unsafe. Vehicle Condition & Safety Issues • Drivability & Handling: The vehicle was excessively bouncy and easily displaced by minor road bumps. I hesitated to make necessary steering adjustments because the RV felt dangerously top-heavy. Furthermore, stopping distances were unacceptably long, even with empty fresh, grey, and black water tanks. These factors forced me to limit my speed to around 70 km/h, which still felt unsafe—especially in city and freeway traffic where quick maneuverability and braking are critical. • Tire Pressures & Suspension: Tire pressures ranged from 76 to 86 PSI—well below the 100 PSI that would be more appropriate for a vehicle of this size. Additionally, the air ride bags differed by more than 10 PSI. • Corroded Tire Lugs: Three tire lugs were severely corroded (attached photo), presenting a major safety concern. The host claimed this was purely cosmetic, but without a third-party inspection, there was no way to verify this did not pose a safety hazard. • Mold & Odor: A musty, moldy smell had been temporarily masked by cleaning done just prior to pick up. While driving with the windows closed and while parked, the odor intensified to the point that my fellow travelers considered it a health hazard. • Missing Supplies: Although advertised to sleep five people, the RV lacked adequate bedding for the table-to-bed conversion. Additionally, only two hand towels and zero bath towels were provided. • Missing Registration & Insurance: No physical proof of registration or insurance was inside the vehicle. When asked, the host stated these documents were accessible via the RVezy app. It is not the renter's responsibility to download and print required vehicle documentation, and operating without physical copies exposes the driver to police citations. Given these safety and legal concerns, I notified the host (Rosalie) that I was topping off the fuel and returning the RV immediately. Issues with RVezy Platform & Billing • Excessive Fees & Lack of Accountability: I booked Rosalie’s RV for seven nights (July 27 – August 3) via RVezy, totaling $2,898.76 paid across three installments (May 26, June 3, and June 20). Out of this total, the host received only $1,116.35. RVezy retains an exorbitant commission—charging roughly $350 for insurance while taking $1,432.41 simply for platform access—yet assumes no responsibility for ensuring the vehicle is safe or accurately represented on the app. • Defective App & Lack of Recourse: Requiring full payment weeks in advance leaves renters with no recourse if a vehicle is unsuitable upon arrival. The app offers no mechanism to reject a rental without host agreement. Even though I returned the RV within 24 hours and indicated in the app that it was returned, the host allowed the reservation to run its full duration before acknowledging the return in the system. • Undocumented Insurance: Despite paying $347.13 for "Standard Protection," RVezy failed to provide a copy of the actual insurance policy after two separate email requests. Operating without accessible policy documentation creates significant legal and financial risk during a law enforcement stop or claim. • Fraudulent Activity / Double Booking: On August 3, the final day of my booked reservation, a favorable review appeared on the listing for an August rental (see attached photo with timestamp in code). Because reviews only open after a rental concludes, RVezy either permitted a fictitious review or allowed the host to re-rent the vehicle during a period I had already paid for. Recommendation: I strongly advise against renting this RV unless you are taking a short local trip and are willing to accept significant risk. More importantly, avoid using RVezy. The platform charges excessive fees, offers zero oversight regarding vehicle safety, and utilizes an app structure designed to collect upfront payments while eliminating renter recourse and dispute options.
