- 1.0PMPratyaksh M.Sep 2026If you rent from Phil, take a detailed video of the entire RV inside and out before driving away. He will tell you to just photograph existing damage, but you need video proof of the overall condition to protect yourself from his false charges later. Our experience was awful. Phil arrived an hour late, forced an unlisted driving test, and gave us a dirty RV (unswept floors, fridge spills, unclean toilet). He even complained to us during pick-up that he was "only making $300" on our rental. When we were 45 minutes late for drop-off, he became completely unhinged. He yelled and swore at us, then aggressively searched the RV to fabricate an $80 cleaning fee for the mess he originally left, plus a fake damage claim. It is obvious he makes up charges to squeeze extra money out of renters. Avoid this host.
