- Janelle N.May 2026The host was communicative and easy to work with overall, but unfortunately we had a few issues during our trip. The AC didn’t get very cold while driving, which made the drive to Joshua Tree pretty uncomfortable in the heat. We also had the rear tire bracket snap when setting the tire down. A welder friend inspected it and felt the weld on the bracket wasn’t strong enough to safely support a tire of that size. Despite that, we were charged $175 for a rusted piece that broke. Overall, the van had potential, but these issues definitely impacted our experience.
