About Amanda

Hi! We are Amanda and Darren - two Midwesterners who met across the world and discovered our paths have been crossing for years. We have two young children and love to introduce them to nature and traveling and exploring new places and cultures. We love all things outdoors - hiking, mountain biking, camping, kayaking, boating, fishing, etc. And we're very crafty and enjoying doing hands-on work - quilting, knitting, crocheting, woodworking, remodeling homes. We are Michiganders through and through, but hold a special place in our hearts for Colorado. We both graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder and love to go back to Colorado and visit when we can. Sko Buffs!
