Hi, I'm Nick — I've been an avid camper for over 20 years. Most of that time was spent out west, using truck bed campers or vans. Now that I’m based in Ontario, I’ve noticed that truck campers aren’t as common here, but let me tell you — they are hands-down the best way to travel and camp.
My current setup is an Arctic Fox truck camper, and it’s like luxury living on wheels. Setup takes just 2 minutes, and everything I need is built right in. The truck itself is fully loaded, surprisingly easy to drive, and the only real thing to keep in mind is your height clearance — you're taller than most rigs, so you have to stay aware of that.
It drives like a dream. In fact, my retired parents often take it on trips across Canada and into the U.S., and even my mom drives it with ease — no issues at all.
One of the biggest advantages of a truck camper is freedom. You’re not tied down to campgrounds or reservations. You can boondock just about anywhere, no plans required. It's the perfect setup for people who love to explore and be spontaneous.

- Murray W.Jul 2025Nicks a great guy and easy to get along with. Everything was as advertised. The camper has everything I needed. Clean, quiet, insulated, comfortable bed and bathroom. The king ranch F350 rides well, comfortable on long rides, and handles the big silver fox camper easily. Bluetooth hooked up with no issues. I would definitely rent this truck and camper combo again.
