Communication before pickup was initially good, and we accommodated requested adjustments to the pickup and return timing. Unfortunately, the return process was not handled as agreed. The trailer was returned when we were not present, despite the need to meet and complete the return/condition review together. This created unnecessary stress and inconvenience, especially because our driveway is tight and has other vehicles and trailers on-site. Returning the trailer without us there also created liability concerns and prevented us from reviewing the trailer’s condition at drop-off. We attempted to reach the renter, but he was not available and proceeded with returning the trailer on his own terms rather than following the agreed return process. Because of the disregard for the return policy and the difficulty completing the handoff properly, I would use caution renting to this guest in the future.
