About Barry & Sue

The OPEL fit our needs for a 4 week trip to BC extremely well. The driving aspect was very good - it handled well even in windy conditions and the fuel consumption turned out to be better than expected - 15.1 L per 100 km. We found the bed to be very comfortable and appreciated that it didn't need to be knocked down and set up each time it was to be used. The bike carrying racks worked out well for us. The one minor problem we encountered was the fridge on propane - it was difficult to start with the manual controls but most nights we got by on the AC setting when plugged in a campsites. When there was no AC the DC setting was good for one night but the battery would need to be recharged the next day with driving. Barry & Sue were very thorough in their explanation of the various systems before we drove away. We would be happy to rent this vehicle again for any future trips.

Barry and Sue were wonderful to deal with! Any questions we had were answered quickly! Opel was a pleasure to stay in. My husband and I spent 10 days touring the east coast. It was great to have a/c or a furnace when needed. Will definitely book this again!

We rented Opel for the May long weekend. It was exactly what we needed. Fantastic for sleeping. Very comfortable. Fridge worked great. Nice and cold. Sink and toilet with running water was very convienent. Camping chairs were handy and the dust buster was perfect. Barry and Sue were very friendly and great people to work with. Would give 10 stars if we could.

Although we had some mechanical issues at the start of our first RV vacation it was quickly resolved by Barry and the Kurch, of State College PA, mechanics. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother resolution. Barry and Sue have a lovely RV named Opel. We pulled a trailer with two motorcycles along the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. Not saying we would do that again but Opel was up to the task. Thank you Sue and Barry.

Just completed a great three night trip in Opel - first time using a motorhome and we found Barry & Sue excellent to deal with & very helpful with the pick-up orientation and providing some additional accessories to help with our trip. A great size RV for two people, very easy to drive, really well equipped & with a super comfortable bed - we would definitely rent this RV again

Barry & Sue were helpful from the pickup to the drop off ! The RV was immaculate and exactly as described . It was my first time renting/driving something that size and it was easy ; Barry makes sure to take you for a test drive so you’re completely comfortable ! I highly recommend any two person or couple with a child this booking for sure ; unless I get to it first :) BIG THANKS BARRY & SUE

We had a great trip with the Roadtrek. Barry and Sue were super friendly and very happy to explain the ins and outs of the Roadtrek. The van was comfortable, clean and easy to drive and manage. Everything was included with no need to bring your own dishes and towels etc. I can only highly recommend this van and experiencing the RV life in it. If you are looking for compact, well thought out and comfortable this is it! Thanks again Barry snd Sue!

We could not have hoped for a better RV to complete our trip in. The Opel was an absolute pleasure to drive - not to mention reliable, comfortable and extremely well thought out. Barry and Sue were ever so helpful in guiding us through the rental process, helpful travel advice on our road trip and just a phone call away if we ever needed their support.
