Yes, b'ys! Welcome to Newfoundland! Thanks for stopping by to check out my camper van.
If you’re looking to see the beauty of Newfoundland, this self-contained camper van is perfect. There are many campgrounds to stay at, as well as many beautiful and secret areas where you can stop by, and stay for the night.
I designed and built this camper van myself from scratch, making sure every detail was done right. I used durable materials throughout, so it feels solid, comfortable, and built to last, and it is well insulated.
This camper is ideal for a provincial campground - just pull in and pull out of your campsite, and they will have facilities, such as a shower or flushing toilets, if you prefer those amenities.
The custom bed is about 70" x 54" (152.4 cm × 137.16 cm), which is just short of a Queen. It sleeps two comfortably.
It’s fully equipped for travelling without needing to plug it in to use the lights. With a solid lithium battery setup, solar panels, 120v plugs for devices like a hair dryer or a laptop, USB plugs, this camper offers plenty of power. If it gets cold outside, it has a heater. There's a small camper toilet, intended for #1s (but not #2s). As well, the kitchen area has both 25 litre fresh tank, and a 25 litre grey tank.
The van will NOT work for off-road use, or remote areas off the highway. But it will get you to all the top places to see - Signal Hill, Cape Spear, Brigus, Cape of St Mary, Petty Harbour, Pouch Cove, etc.
If you have any questions at all about the camper van or your route, just drop me a line—I’m happy to help you get ready for the road!
