Communication
Oliver was very friendly and showed the trailer well before departure. The trailer is as you would expect a 10+ year old trailer to be. Our only complaints were that the fridge did not work on propane ever though we had it level. The stove worked but we couldn’t get hot water even though the water heater was on. We had some water come into the trailer during a rain storm as well. I would advise to check the roof over the slide. The trailer was comfortable and suited our needs.
Trailer was as pictured. It is an older unit so expect to see some wear and tear that doesn’t show in the pictures. Unit was relatively nice - not as clean as we’d have expected (but I own my own rv and this was my first rental - maybe my expectations were too high). We wiped everything down before we moved our stuff in and left it cleaner when we left.
We had the unit dropped off for a family reunion and only used it for sleeping - can’t comment on how any of the appliances or amenities work.
Experienced a leaky water service hookup hose which created a puddle in our site if the water tap was left on - advised the owner. Weren’t able to figure out a propane level discrepancy (we had full hookups and didn’t do anything but sleep in the trailer…. Definitely didn’t use any propane services so were surprised when (approx 6 hrs after checkout) the host changed the propane level from full to 3/4…. He didn’t charge us for it, but word of advise - make sure you check the tank levels on checkin whether you plan to use any of the propane systems or not.
Communication was good until pickup day - host was late for agreed pickup time with no prior notification / communication.
