Located right in the Comox Valley—minutes from the world-class singletrack of Cumberland and the alpine gravity trails of Mount Washington—this 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is custom-configured, catering for riders and outdoor enthusiasts, with tons of space for gear and bikes under the bed, while still being a manageable size for driving in town. 🚴 Rider-First Features Secure Internal Bike Garage: Don’t leave your expensive bikes vulnerable on an exterior rack. Our minimal, spacious build features a dedicated internal garage area to keep your bikes completely locked, dry, and safe inside the vehicle while you sleep or grab a post-ride beer. Modular Flex-Seating: Travelling as a couple? Enjoy maximum cargo and living space. Bringing the crew? We can install an optional second row of seats upon request to safely seat up to 5 people. Apres-Ride Kitchen: Keep it simple and functional. The van comes equipped with an optional portable camp kitchen, perfect for whipping up coffee before first tracks or cooking dinner at the trailhead. 🗺️ The Perfect Basecamp Location We are located in Cumberland, making vehicle pick-up incredibly easy if you fly into the Comox Valley Airport (YQQ). From our driveway, you are an easy drive away from: Cumberland Trailhead Parking (5 mins) Mount Washington Alpine Resort (3mins), and the many trail networks between Campbell River and Victoria, or surfing in beautiful Tofino. 🚫 Road Policies (Pavement Only) To ensure this rig stays reliable and clean for every trip, this is a strict pavement-only van. Travel is limited to paved public highways, main town roads, and well-maintained campground access loops. No FSRs / Logging Roads: Driving on unpaved Forest Service Roads, active logging routes, or backcountry dirt trails is strictly prohibited and monitored via GPS. Good news: You do not need logging roads to ride the best spots! The riding areas from Campbell River to Victoria are mostly paved. Short drives on gravel roads to the trailhead are acceptable.
