Insurance Reminder
Just a clear note on insurance terms:
1. RVezy's included insurance only protects the loft camper unit.
2. The Ford Lightning pickup truck is not insured by RVezy at all.
3. You need to have your own valid auto insurance for the truck before picking up the vehicle.
A useful suggestion: reach out to your car insurance company, they usually offer daily or yearly rental insurance plans you can purchase separately.

- Kelly B.Aug 2026We had a great experience renting Jack’s truck and camper for a trip to Buttle Lake in Strathcona Park. The whole setup was very well kept and really easy to drive. The F-150 Lightning was especially nice on the winding, hilly roads through Strathcona - super quiet and smooth, with none of the constant downshifting you’d normally get coming out of slow corners or climbing hills. This was also our first experience travelling in an EV and charging was much easier than we expected. Jack gave us some great recommendations for apps to find charging stations, and we also used PlugShare. We used fast chargers and spent only about $32 on charging for the round trip from Nanaimo to Buttle Lake - plus a day trip - and back, and still had around 40% battery when we dropped it off (450+ kilometres). The camper itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed is on the firmer side, but was surprisingly comfortable - we even brought a camping pad thinking we might want it on top and never ended up using it. The skylight over the bed totally added to the experience. Water pressure was great both inside and outside as well; it was nice and hot too. We tried the heater only for a moment and it pumps heat! Jack was super friendly and easy to deal with. He gave us a really thorough walkthrough before we left and made sure we knew we could reach him if anything came up during the trip. Overall, a really fun and easy rental experience. We’d definitely rent from Jack again!
