I have upgraded this van to the point where if you are smart with power and water you can stay off grid for a week or maybe even 2 depending how sparing you are with the water. I used this van full time off grid while traveling for work for 2 years never paying a cent for a campsite or hookups. Now that I'm working at home I figured I would let others try the van out and that way I can justify keeping it. No 4x4 roads please. It's a 2 wheel drive low clearance van. It would just get damaged and stuck and no one wants that. Thank you so much! **winter rental note: this van is 2 wheel drive with AT tires so it is not made for driving in snow or ice and performs poorly and will get stuck in snow. If you want to rent it in the winter we can talk about it and where your going and see if it will work out if its a warmer area and what month and how the weather is. Vancouver area is usually decent most of the winter. Also most likely it will be winterized for the cold weather so the water for the kitchen sink and shower won't be functional. personally Ive used it in -25c and been ok but i only used filtered water jugs for cooking and drinking. Kept it right in front of the diesel heater to keep it from freezing.***
