Glamping in Tofino/Ucluelet with Frog Pod Welcome to Frog Pod, our lovingly renovated 2012 R-Pod Eco Constructed Edition: your cozy home away from home in beautiful Tofino/Ucluelet! Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family adventure, Frog Pod comfortably sleeps 2 adults + 2 kids or 3 adults. While it can fit 4 adults, the two on the convertible dinette will be very snug... If needed, we can provide a camping pad and sleeping bag for the 4th adult on the floor. Delivery is required for all bookings. Frog Pod will be delivered directly to your reserved campsite in the Tofino/Ucluelet area and be fully set up for you. Delivery includes everything from backing into the site and hooking up water and sewage to levelling and setting up the inside of the trailer, so all you need to do is arrive and settle in (Airbnb-style!). No towing, no setup, just a warm and effortless start to your getaway. Most campgrounds in the area are fully serviced, making this a seamless and stress-free experience for every guest. Note: If you’re booking at Bella Pacifica Beachfront (sites 1-18), Frog Pod can only fit in sites 5, 6, 7 and 8. **When booking your campsite, keep services in mind: - Power is a must for Frog Pod, and it can ONLY operate on 30 amp power. We cannot operate on 15 amp. - Water and sewage are optional and up to you if you want access to the washroom and sink. Extra comfort options: - All bookings come with up to 4 camping chairs, basic cooking items (salt, pepper, oil), basic kitchenware, giant outdoor mat, and more (see full list below) - While Frog Pod doesn’t have a built-in awning, you can add-on an optional R-Dome tent at checkout for $100 per stay. It attaches to the trailer and acts like an awning with walls - perfect for extra outdoor living space, and ideal for Tofino's unpredictable weather, and of course we would set it up and take it down for you. - Fire bans are super common on Vancouver Island, so we've added a propane fire pit as an optional add-on which includes 1 full 20lb propane tank, all for $75 per stay. - We have also added a camping outdoor propane stove as an optional add-on for cooking outside which includes one full 16 oz propane tank for $60 per trip. If you're dreaming of a longer island adventure, Frog Pod is fully equipped and easily towable at just 3,500 lbs GVWR.
