2009 Coachmen Freedom Express 31
The Gypsy mobile is not your average Cruise America RV. The Gypsy is a luxury home on the road with nice finishes, windows everywhere (this is a major deal for us, as light, and seeing the sights is very important) she has been meticulously maintained and in great shape for her age. She has one slide out, which makes a huge difference. The excessive amount of windows make her feel significantly bigger than comparable length models even when the slide out is in.
If you have rented or owned RVs in the past, you might not need more than an hour or two of instruction and that is included. But if you are new to the RV life and want to buy your own and become an expert before you buy, I offer a class where we will spend up to 4 hours with you, and you will leave with everything you need to know including driving lessons. Click the add-on box if you would like to take the class. The class will take place right before your departure. If you want to take the class without renting, that is fine also, just message me.
There is a Queen pillow top mattress on the main bed and she sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids in beds (Queen above cab, Queen in the main back bedroom, Full on the bed that folds out from the couch, and a short twin on the table that becomes a bed). It is big, but surprisingly easy to drive. We will walk you though everything, which usually takes 2 hours or more, and even take you for a drive. We are happy to give you advice, we have driven RVs all over the West Coast and have lots of good advice to give, and know dozens of gorgeous places to camp within a few a few hours of Denver.
You do not need to park in RV campgrounds, but it does simplify things a lot if you are parking at designated RV sites that have plug ins, water hook ups, and level spots.
If you park at RV parks, you may have hook ups, which could mean nothing more than a power cord that will allow you to run lights, AC, fridge, and microwave without turning on the generator, to more luxurious amenities like TV, Wifi and black and grey water hook ups or dumps. But...you don't need anything for multiple days (depending on how many people are using it, and how much power and water you use)
You will need to confirm with each campground/RV Park/ect. that a 26' long, 12' high and 9' wide RV will fit. She has a 30Amp plug, which almost all RV parks will have.
We can provide MADE IN THE USA, kitchenware, sheets, pillows, comforters, and towels, but we have them listed as an "Add-ons" charge so you can save money if you what to bring your own.
If this is your 1st RV adventure you have a lot to learn, and we are happy to help.
You are responsible for damages while renting the RV, and all lost rental income due those damages being fixed. Keep in mind that RV mechanics are really backed up...so don't damage it, or it could be really costly.
Taking the RV off the pavement is not allowed, with the exception of smooth gravel roads. Driving over 65mph is not allowed, nor is climbing on the roof or using the ladder. You are responsible for any lost rental revenue while the RV is being repaired, or waiting to be repaired, if you damage it during the rental period.
