2022 Braxton Creek 10HD
This like-new teardrop trailer is so easy to pull and set up. Located in southern New Brunswick, she is a five-minute drive from New River Beach and nearby campground, and just a stone’s throw from many of eastern Canada’s other beautiful river and ocean coastlines. With offroad tires, Matilda is perfect for campgrounds or boondocking (where legal).
INSIDE: Don’t be fooled by her size. Matilda offers a queen size bed, new memory foam mattress and ample room to sit inside, couch-style. (The owner is 5’9” is very comfortable inside.) Matilda comes with cozy bedding and ample storage, including 4 large cabinets, shelving, and underbed storage. Flip on the battery and easily charge your phones, laptop, or other small electronic devices. (More interior pictures to come this spring when she’s back from her winter’s nap in storage!)
COMFORT: If you’re feeling chilly, you can pre-warm your sleeping space with the propane heater and snuggle into the flannel sheets and wool blanket. If you’re hot, you can open the windows and flip on the battery-operated fan. One of our favourite things to do on a hot night is to push both doors completely open, install the screens, and sleep with an ocean or forest breeze blowing through the camper. If you’re hooked up to electrical, you can also use the AC.
OUTSIDE: Easily create your outdoor living space in minutes by opening the generous awning and popping up the solar powered twinkle lights. Matilda comes with up to 4 camp chairs and an exterior mat. A full propane tank and portable propane fireplace are available for an extra fee. To cook, pop open Matilda’s charming and functional exterior kitchenette, with 2 propane burners, a large multi-day cooler, sink, water storage (non-potable), and all necessary pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Matilda also has an exterior shower hose for sandy feet or a pre-bedtime rinse, as well as a clothesline rope and pins. Renters will receive a full list of what’s already stocked, to facilitate packing.
EXTRAS: For an additional fee, renters can request any of the following additional amenities: full propane tank, portable propane fireplace, two adult bicycles and helmets (no transportation rack, sorry), beach buckets, and a comprehensive first aid kit.
RULES: Two-night minimum. No pets. No smoking or drugs. No craziness in general. No international travel.

My partner and I love the outdoors and are avid campers. We're delighted to share our little teardrop camper with fellow nature lovers when we're not using it ourselves. Also happy to share tips, tricks, and itineraries for some of the most beautiful camping spots on Canada's east coast!
