- Hung N.Jun 2026If I can leave a 0 stars, I would. The trailer was reserved two weeks prior to our camping trip to Jemez Campgrounds. My wife and I were really excited to take my 18 month old to his first camping trip with a trailer. A couple of days before the trip, I communicated to Ariel if they can drop off the trailer at our site since they were located in Jemez. Ariel agreed. We told them our itinerary and when we were expecting to be at the campgrounds (1pm). When the day arrived, we were at the campgrounds waiting for the trailer to be dropped off. A couple of hours past and no signs of the trailer. I decide to drive back out to town to get reception to communicate with Ariel. I then find that Ariel wrote a message at 12:30p (THE DAY OF THE RENTAL) that they couldn’t make it due to mechanical issues. Mind you, we packed and prepared for this trip with the expectation of sleeping in the trailer. We did not bring tents nor sleeping bags. Unprofessional is an understatement. Why couldn’t have gotten a message or call days, or EVEN HOURS before to notify that the rental was cancelled so that we can prepare differently. 30 minutes before our arrival!? It takes 45 minutes to drive from the town into the campgrounds. They should’ve known that we would not get any reception! Yet, still no decency to even drive to the campgrounds to let us know that they can’t bring the trailer? Ariel communicated that they will provide a full refund, yet only has paid half of the total rental cost. I’m expecting the FULL refund. I would not recommend this person to rent from. Leaving my wife and I stranded is one thing. But not accounting for our 18month old is even crazier.
