Great Escape – Spacious 170EXT Adventure Van

Do you want to enioy "VanLife"? Our 2015 Mercedes Sprinter 170 ext is the perfect van for your next adventure. With 6 1/2 feet of interior height, and fixed Queen sized bed you will find it comfortable and accommodating. The van is 2WD but comes with all terrain tires on Fuel rims for a slick look with rugged capabilities. Our van has a Diesel engine with 13L/100km highway mileage, meaning you can go further between fuel ups. We have traveled in this van from St. John's to Tuktoyaktuk and know it will be great for your next adventure. It is equipped to go off-grid for several days at a time, with 300ah Lithium batteries, 350W Solar, Shoreline power hookup, 3000W Inverter and extensive 12V power system. Water - 120L non-potable water tank (Drinking water is required by the renter), functioning sink, NO on demand hot water. The refrigerator is 65L with a small freezer. For cooking there is an induction cooktop, and propane camp stove. There is a composting toilet. A Esbar D2 diesel heater, keeps you warm on those spring and fall nights, and the 2 roof MaxxAir fans to help cool the van and circulate the air making it very comfortable all year. There is lots of storage available, and the garage area allows larger bulky items to be stored safely. What's included Cookware - 2x frying pan, 1x large pot/lid, 1x sauce pan, 1x kettle, 1x french press, cheese grater, 1x mixing bowl, 1x strainer, 1x cutting board and a sharp knife, Utensils and cups - 4x Coffee mugs/Large drinking glasses(plastic), 4x knives/forks/spoons, 4x plates/bowls, 1x ladle, spatula, and tongs, 1x can opener and scissors, 1x wine bottle opener Queen Sized bed with Linens, 2 pillows, extra blanket, mattress protector, 2 face cloths, 2 bath towels, dish cloths, drying cloths Cleaning supplies - Dish soap, multipurpose cleaner, garbage bags, vinegar spray for the toilet, dish dry rack, broom, vacuum Accessories - 2x folding chairs, All window coverings (small window beside bed doesn't have a cover), bug screens on side and rear doors, umbrella, ladder, laundry basket, extension cord and a tool box for minor repairs. Upon Pickup - include a Full tank of water(non potable), Full tank of Diesel, Fresh linens. Please review rules of the road, all rules must be followed or you may occur additional costs. In the van we have included a copy of ways to trouble shoot any issues that may arise and the list will be updated for future renters if something else should occur. Along with that will come a list of drop off duties, allowing a smooth transition when returning the vehicle. Please keep all conversations through rental app as it will protect both parties from any discrepancies. These are our rules of the road, and we have them in place so there shall be NO surprises for either party in the event something shall occur. We do not expect you will have any issues but in the event something arrises please see the following list for any addition costs that may be associated with the rental. Smoking - There is NO smoking inside the vehicle. Smoking inside the vehicle will result in a complete loss of the deposit ($1000) Mileage: 300 free kilometers / day 50 cents per additional km Fuel - The van will be rented with a full tank of Diesel. If the van requires refuelling upon drop-off, a charge of $50 plus cost of diesel will be applied Waste fee - Using of the Natures head toilet is welcomed however, if the urine is not dumped and the toilet is not cleaned properly prior to its return, $100 will charged. Damage/theft - Any items that have been damaged, lost or stolen will be replaced; at cost of item + $50 (This will not apply to apply to things considered "wear" or normal usage of an item) Pet fee - Yes, your companions are welcome to join you on your adventures, I just ask that you disclose this in the booking. Any damages or excessive cleaning will result in the additional cleaning fee. Additional cleaning fee - This fee will apply to all instances where cleaning is required above and beyond normal expectations and will require special attention (Deep cleaning required due to pet/human soiling on any surfaces, excessive exterior cleaning ie. chunks of mud up the side of the vehicle, to name a few) This fee will start at $150 and will be applied on an individual basis. Inappropriate use - This van is large vehicle and is not intended to be used in any instance where 4x4 capabilities are recommended. In the event the van is suspected to be used inappropriately a loss of $1000 will occur, as the van will be inspected by Mercedes to insure it is still in safe working order. Late fee - I ask the van is returned no later then 11:00 am EST (1100) on the day rental expires. Each hour after that will result in a fee of $25/hour unless contacted and arranged otherwise. Insurance - Any damage to the vehicle will be processed through insurance. Cash will not be accepted in any case to pay for such claims.
