2019 Roadtrek Simplicity SRT

If you’re looking for a practical and efficient way to explore the simple pleasures of the great outdoors, our Roadtrek Simplicity SRT is a perfect camper for you. We know, because we took this camper on a five-week trip of a lifetime to the national parks in Utah, with many sight-seeing stops along the way. The sliding side door has a heavy-duty drop-down bug screen, making entry and exit easy with a magnetic closure. Simplicity is fun to drive. She is equally at home in urban traffic, interstate highways, or winding roads in the countryside. Small enough to fit into a parking space at the grocery store, but large enough to provide all the amenities that two people need for a camping trip. You might call it glamping, a form of camping with accommodations and amenities not associated with traditional tent camping. Most times, we have not focused on the creature comforts, but on the amazing opportunity to visit places where we connect with the beauty of the natural world. That’s what being outdoorsy is all about! Simplicity is the perfect vehicle for boondocking or drydocking. The three solar panels keep the dual batteries charged for normal needs such as electric lights, microwave, and refrigerator. without needing to be plugged into an electrical source. (However, you must have an electrical connection to run the A/C over the bed). You might even choose to stay at a Cracker Barrel, which offers free spots to RVers. Simplicity is economical too, generally averaging over 17 miles per gallon of gas. You’ll notice that Simplicity has some aesthetic personal touches as well—a handstitched Lancaster County, PA quilt on the bed, a custom-made hardwood cutting board that doubles as a cover for the sink. Both were made by the co-owners, as was the custom cabinetry that maximizes the storage under the bed and the seat in the back.

We got into RVing after retiring in 2018. We enjoy visiting state and local parks, and have visited about ten of the national parks as well. Since we live on the east coast, we've camped from Maine to Florida, and as far west as Utah. We particularly enjoy biking, so bike riding is an important part of most every day of our trips.
