2019 Airstream Sport 22FB
Our Silver Bullet was the largest and longest and most capable single-axle Airstream Travel Trailer manufactured and sold in 2019. Though a tow vehicle with only 4500 pounds (fully loaded) of tow capacity can haul it, it sleeps two adults on a comfy 78"x54" bed in the front compartment and two smaller persons (children, adolescents, some teenagers) in the convertible dinette lounge & bed nook featuring a 74.5′′ x′38′ sleeping area. Nine Interior Windows and Skylights provide plenty of light, even with minimal expenditure of the juice of two AGM batteries, recharged by three top-mounted solar panels providing up to 270 watts of power when sunny conditions exist. The rig features an LPG furnace which also heats the undercarriage water and sewer storage tanks, air conditioning, a variable-speed overhead exhaust fan, as well as an electrical heat strip in the overhead AC unit. Has a stand-up/sit down shower in the bathroom which features a decent toilet, faucet, and sink. The galley has twin LPG stove burners, a stainless steel double sink with a Moen faucet, and inert cutting boards. The sizable fridge also offers a small freezer-- (which I love for my whiskey ice). Hot water heater works great! Ample underbed and under-dinette seat storage. Nice widescreen HDTV which can use cable or the far-reaching antenna, as well as an AM/FM/Bluetooth/Aux input multi-speaker sound system and DVD/CD player. All hoses, including an electrically-heated external water hose, included. We recently added 300-count Egyptian cotton sheets to add to the sleeping comfort of the rig. We also provide two sleeping bags and pillows for the convertible dinette bed. Well maintained and outfitted by someone with heavy duty military heavy equipment (I.e. tank, armored fighting vehicle, armored personnel vehicles, tank recovery vehicles, etc.) maintenance and deployment load planning experience. This is a magnificent, gently used piece of equipment-- sadly replaced by a larger, fancier version once the RVing virus totally overcame me and my wife. This is our third travel trailer, the first being a toy hauler as well.
