Hosts and camper were awesome. Communication was easy and productive. Flexibility on drop off/pick up was great. They were very nice and helpful all along the process. The camper itself was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of throw-in's to have a solid trip. Honestly, if I do this again, I won't even look elsewhere. I'll go straight to Beth and Dane as first choice.

This was our first family RV trip. I have experience with big rigs, but my only RV experience was in my childhood. We needed to make a quick weekend trip with lots of driving. Taking an RV was a great way to get the miles, and be able to comfortably rest when needed. We made it to our event, and were able to rest for a few hours when we arrived. It was wonderful. The kids loved the space and freedom, and our family if 6 had a bed for each kid, so no sharing!! The RV is pet friendly, but for us non pet owners, it was clean and fresh, so rest assured, if you’re a non pet person, it’ll be great! The value was excellent, and Aaron went above and beyond. We even took on some minor road damage, and Aaron was able to correct everything himself, and kept us in our budget. He could have easily sent this to the shop, and hit up big charges. It’s evident he cares about his renters, and their experience! It was an A+ experience, and my kids have already asked when are we doing it again. Which is crazy, because it was a 1600 mile car ride in3.5 days! Kids never ask to ride in our Car for that long, but they loved the RV! If you’ve been dreaming about it, do it, YOLO! But maybe pick a shorter drive than we did for your first time.

Great camper, great price. We have never camped in an rv before so we had to figure some things out. Luckily we were able to connect with them to get things hooked up. Once we got all that taken care of we had a good time camping. The camper had all the essentials like pots, pans, silverware, dinner ware, etc. Bath fan does not work.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Barbourville, Kentucky?

Great news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Barbourville. Kentucky does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or special endorsement for personal RV use, so your standard Class D license covers Class B campervans, Class C motorhomes, and travel trailers from local RVezy hosts. You'll need to be at least 25 years old, and RVezy verifies your ID right inside the booking flow, so there are no extra DMV trips. Visiting from abroad? Bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your home license. Most first-time renters are surprised by how simple the process is, and you'll be road-ready in minutes.

What protection is included when I book an RV in Barbourville?

Every RVezy booking in Barbourville includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you are covered from the moment you drive away. The protection plan helps cover damage to the RV during your trip, and you choose your coverage level during checkout (not the host), so you can pick what fits your comfort level. This is not traditional auto insurance, but it provides significant financial peace of mind for your Barbourville RV trip. Pro tip: consider a higher-tier protection plan if you are planning mountain drives on US-25E toward Cumberland Gap, where extra peace of mind is welcome.

You've got this, and Barbourville is actually a great place to learn. Hosts on RVezy provide a full orientation and walkthrough at pickup, showing you exactly how to operate the slide-outs, holding tanks, propane, and electrical system before you drive away. First time renting an RV? Pick a Class C motorhome or smaller travel trailer for easy handling, and stick to wider routes like US-25E and the Cumberland Gap Parkway (US-25E south) instead of narrow backroads. Many hosts also offer delivery, so you can skip the drive entirely. The Cumberland Gap Tunnel (US-25E south) is open to RVs but bans propane tanks larger than 10 gallons by federal rule, so check your rig's specs.
