Campgrounds and RV parks near Pierceland, SK

Pierceland sits in northwest Saskatchewan near the Alberta border, at the doorstep of one of Canada's largest provincial parks. Spanning over 1,600 square kilometres and featuring more than 20 lakes, rivers and streams, Meadow Lake Provincial Park is one of the largest provincial parks in Canada, offering excellent fishing and water-based opportunities with some of the best beaches in Saskatchewan. RV travellers have several nearby options inside the park boundary, including Hirtz Lake, Sandy Beach, and Howe Bay, along with Pierce Lake Lodge just outside the park. Featuring twelve campgrounds with over 800 campsites, the park offers a new experience each visit. Sites range from basic tent pads to electric and full-service pull-throughs suited to larger rigs. Across the provincial border to the west, Cold Lake Provincial Park in Alberta adds another lakefront option within easy driving distance, protecting boreal forest on the north shore of one of Alberta's largest lakes.

Sites inside Meadow Lake Provincial Park are booked through the Saskatchewan Provincial Parks reservation system. Reservations for the Saskatchewan Provincial Parks 2026 camping season are set to begin April 13 for seasonal campsites and April 14 to 17 for nightly campsites, including Camp-Easy yurts, backcountry camping, economy, equestrian, non-electric, electric, and full-service sites. The staggered launch begins at 7 a.m. CST each day to prevent website traffic delays. A valid vehicle entry permit is required for all vehicles while in a provincial park, and entry can be purchased in advance by visiting parks.saskatchewan.ca. For Cold Lake Provincial Park across the border, bookings go through the Alberta Parks reservation system, and reservations can be made 90 days in advance of arrival date.
