Smaller alternatives round out the area. South Park Municipal Campground in nearby Gibson City offers basic hookups at a city-run park, Newton County Fairgrounds in Kentland, Indiana lies about 30 miles east across the state line, and Enchanted Shores provides a quieter country setting closer to the state park.
