Campgrounds and RV parks near Glendale, OR

Glendale sits in southwestern Oregon's Douglas County, just off Interstate 5 between Grants Pass and Roseburg. The town is a practical staging point for RV travelers heading to the Rogue River, the Umpqua National Forest, and the redwood corridor to the south. Most campgrounds in the area cluster along the I-5 corridor, which keeps fuel stops, groceries, and dump stations within easy reach. Nearby options range from small rural parks to large full-service resorts. Sunny Valley Campground sits at Exit 71, roughly 15 miles north of Grants Pass, and works well for travelers who want quick highway access. Seven Feathers RV Park in Canyonville lies to the north and is built around a casino resort, while Grants Pass KOA Journey, Rogue Valley Overnighter RV, and Rivers West RV Park give travelers more choices around the Rogue Valley to the south. Elevations along this stretch of I-5 are low enough that most parks stay open through shoulder seasons, though some smaller campgrounds close in winter.

Private RV parks in the Glendale area, including Sunny Valley Campground, Seven Feathers RV Park, Grants Pass KOA Journey, Rogue Valley Overnighter RV, and Rivers West RV Park, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. KOA bookings also run through the KOA app and central reservation system. Summer weekends and holiday stretches book out earliest, so reserving several months ahead is sensible. For federal campgrounds in the surrounding Rogue River-Siskiyou and Umpqua national forests, reservations are made through Recreation.gov, typically up to six months in advance. Oregon State Park sites in the broader region, such as Valley of the Rogue, are reserved through the Oregon State Parks reservation system on a six-month rolling window.
