Lil’ Clipper Family Bunkhouse

Sleeps 5 • Travel Trailer

Courtenay, BC (35.2 km away)

Family Friendly! Sorry, no pets, no smoking or partying in our camper please. Our 17ft Coachmen Clipper Bunkhouse features two single bunks, which are like tucked in cubbies that our kids love. (They are also very hard to fall out of which is a plus) A half dinette which can be converted to another kids bed easily when folded flat (which could also fit a pack and play on top perfectly for a small baby) , or you could set it up like a lounge / couch area. And then the main rv queen size bed of course for the adults. Sleeps five comfortably. There is a small fridge, single sink, microwave and double burners. The fridge runs on propane. Also includes a toilet and small bathtub / shower combo. Our kitchen comes equipped with all the main equipment (pots, pans, kettle, plates, cups, bowls etc.) you should need. The heater keeps things cozy on cool nights, which runs on propane. The air conditioning needs electric, so you would need a full service site or bring a 4000w+ generator for this amenity to work. If camping for more than 2 nights, it's best to have a site hooked up to electric, otherwise the battery will die after about a day and a half, and some amenities will not be working after that time.

Recent RV rental reviews in Powell River, BC

Pauline T. Sep 2023
As this was our first time renting an RV through RVezy, we had several questions pre departure and Brian answered all our questions thoroughly and promptly either via the app or on the phone. Upon meeting Brian he was very friendly and helpful with the departure inspection and orientation of his unit. It was very convient that he met us with the RV at a property very close to the ferry terminal and provided a secure place for our car. However, within 3 nights of our 7 night booking we suddenly had to come home due to our sick dog. Brian was very understanding and generous in offering us ways to compensate for our lost nights of rental that are still standing. Thank you Brian for being an excellent host!!

Peter’s camper exceeded our expectations! He was accommodating for pickup and drop off, as well as thorough when going through how to work everything. It is fully stocked with more than you think you will need! He has thought of everything and we would definitely book this camper again. Thanks Peter!

Pam and James were perfect hosts who were super responsive and caring about us having a great trip. We were 9 days off grid and they made sure we had everything we needed and even checked on us to be sure we were ok because we were out of cell range. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and had lots of great suggestions too! The trailer was perfect for the 2 of us and the pup, but we did run out of trailer water after 7 days even though we were conservative, so just make sure you bring extra if you are going out for that long without a sani-dump or fill up. The grey and black tanks showed full on the panel, but still had some room in them and didn’t top out while we were there. The trailer has a super comfy bed and couch and nice kitchen, but we did most of our cooking outside. The set up was great for that with an outdoor Coleman burner, grill and flat top that was very convenient for everything. There were lots of thoughtful handy gadgets for cooking too! I loved the cutting board attachments. Super comfy lounge chairs and handy fire pit made for great relaxing nights. You don’t need to bring much - just your food and clothes! We did end up bringing too much, and there isn’t a lot of storage in the trailer so we lived out of our bags that we stored on the sofa. We carefully managed the power with the solar panel and we’re lucky we had mostly sunny days- would recommend bringing a genny if you will be off grid for a while, we did miss charging our phones. The fridge, stove and trailer heater are propane based and James made sure we had lots. All and all we had a great stay and would highly recommend Pam and James and their little GeoPro!
