- Michelle Z.Jul 2022The engine worked great - pulling it up hills. Bill and Betty were friendly. However, this motorhome needs a LOT of work. There has been a lot of water damage that has been covered up with contact paper inside the master bedroom. The outside has a lot of tape covering up all the seams due to leakage issues?!?! No cookware, dishes or utensils. Definitely not the “comfortable, super clean motorhome” shown in the pictures or described in the ad.
- Desmond G.May 2022Bill and Betty are great; kind and flexible with the rental, accommodating some last minute changes to our dates. The 3 star rating is only to reflect the age of the RV, and our overall comfort level in it during the trip. We found the master bed mattress VERY firm. The interior is deteriorated and could use some TLC and repairs. We were dry camping. The battery is weak so we were lucky to have a friend's generator to boost its charge, and operate the water pump etc. during the day. At night, we unplugged everything, turned off the water pump, switched the fridge to propane, and still, with only the heater switch to toggle on/ off, the battery died half way through each night. Rent the generator or bring your own. The rental came with very little amenities - no cookware, cooking utensils, table settings etc. BYO.

Pamela H.Sep 2021We really enjoyed our time on the Island! We named her Bessie! She brought us to many different locations. The place was clean and the beds were comfy! We felt safe and dry! We bought a propane campfire while we’re we camping it was the only thing missing from the adventure! Lots of storage. Glad to have met the lovely family who shared their RV with us!
