We’re Colin and Jen, the camping and outdoors lovers behind the Tin Can Cottage. We have decades of experience with all types of camping in all seasons, from backwoods solo canoe trips to large group camps to RV resort getaways. These days, most of our family camping takes place in our 2011 Evergreen 32MKS Travel Trailer, which we affectionately call our “Tin Can Cottage.”
While others enjoy the cottage life, we prefer our retreat on wheels, as it gives us the freedom to explore our beautiful country, and we never need to mow the lawn!

The tin can bunkie was super cute and perfect for our getaway. The black out curtains were a bonus! Loved that there were cleaning products on board. And loved the dyson! Colin arrived on time for the delivery and pick up and got us set up and taken down quickly and efficiently. A few less things to think about with small children. The trailer was clean and met our needs.

My kids enjoyed the comfortable bunk beds and having air conditioning was a great treat. At night the kids watched DVDs inside the trailer while adults were out by the fire. It was our first time camping with a reader and were a bit anxious and had lots of questions but Collin was being helpful, extremely courteous and very generous with his time. The camper was great and while big, still handled well and sleepy everyone comfortably. There were also lots of amenities there such as tools, cutlery, plates and other items to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you for everything!!

Colin was a great host, extremely patient (it was our first time renting a trailer) and offered lots of information and suggestions to make the rental the best it could be. We would definitely recommend Colin's 'Tin Can Cottage' to anyone looking for a great trailering experience!
