- Kirt S.Mar 2026My experience was the worst I have ever had when renting an RV. The host was not there when I picked it up nor was he there when I dropped it off. The RV had to be jump started when I picked it up. The air conditioner did not work. The stove did not work. The generator used over $200.00 of gasoline in 3 days which caused the RV to run out of gas. The entry steps were a hazard because the bottom step was so low to the ground it would sometimes hit the ground and not fully open. The host told me I would need to have the RV back before 12 noon or I would have to wait until after 6pm when he got home from work. I was at his house to return the RV at 930am and it took 1 hour for him to call me back and let me know he was at work and would not be home until 6pm.
