- Erika K.Aug 2026Delivered by hostAs a whole this experience was okay. I think we had realistic expectations prior to renting this trailer and for the most part it worked out for me and my family. But part of this was because we had friends with us who were able to fill in any gaps that weren’t communicated. Biggest challenge was that we are a family of 5, which we noted when reserving. The trailer sleeps 5 so that was aligned. I asked prior to departure if we needed to provided bedding— and the answer was this was included. Upon set up we were told it was included for 4 people but apparently not the 5th person. When I asked for this to be provided as we are 4 hrs away from home, he agreed to come back the next day. We compromised in that we would make do for a single night, which meant a 5th person (me) was sleeping in a bed made from beach towels. After getting through the night, He later messaged saying this was not reasonable to request bedding for the 5th bed. We were lucky to have had friends staying in the same campsite as they provided us with a few items to allow us all to sleep for the remainder of our trip. The bedding/linens that are in the trailer did not feel acceptable — there were only two typical bed pillows. And the rest were decorative sofa pillows that did not appear to be washed. Nothing felt super cleaned but it’s camping so we rolled with it. I would recommend bringing your own linens if renting this again— and likely an airmatress as the sleeping pads within the trailer were very thin— they actually had body imprints where the last people slept. Also missing dish cloth, dry towel, and spatula for the frying pan. I would have been okay with this trailer rental had the communication been better— we would have brought a few more things to make it more comfortable.
