Mark was friendly when we first met and took the time to explain how the RV systems worked, which I appreciated. Originally, I planned to tow the trailer myself from Invermere. During our conversations before pickup, Mark suggested delivering the trailer directly to the campsite instead, and I agreed. The biggest issue came after I noticed the manufacturer’s weight sticker on the trailer. The listing showed the trailer weight as 3,460 lbs, hitch weight 250 lbs, year 2024, which is why I booked it, as my vehicle is rated to tow 3,500 lbs and has a tongue weight of 350 lbs. However, the manufacturer’s sticker showed year (2022)and GVWR of 4,995 lbs, with no dry weight and no tongue weight displayed.I checked online and found more but not 250 or matching ones so asked him, which caused confusion. I understand that the listing may have been referring to the dry weight, but this was not clearly explained in the advertisement. After I raised this concern, communication became much more difficult. He still confirmed the tongue weight was 2xx lbs and said my car couldn’t tow it. I was asked to pay an additional 50 for fuel so the trailer could be picked up. Later, the host told me not to worry about the 50. He said, “Im sure I’ll recuperate that one way or the other. The pickup and delivery times also changed several times through private phone calls. The trailer was generally clean, although I found some hair and dirt behind one of the storage bins. It wasn’t a big issue, as we cleaned it ourselves. Overall, we still enjoyed our camping trip, and I appreciate the time Mark spent explaining the RV. However, I believe the listing information should be clearer, especially regarding the trailer’s weight, and communication should remain professional when guests raise reasonable questions
