Dear RVEZY
Thank you for getting us in contact with William, we rented Blasco Bunkhouse holiday trailer from him to enjoy our 4 day weekend in Kelowna .
My pre pickup conversation with William included questions about the necessities needed for the trailer , I asked about bedding and propane , and other needed appliances for our trip .
William reassured me that everything I needed other than food was on board the trailer .
We picked up the trailer without any issues .
Upon our arrival at our reserved RV park , Princess RV Park , an amazing place by the way , we noticed that the rear passenger side Jack was damaged , it was usable but was definitely defective.
The RV cleanliness was minimal , the bathroom was emitting a smell that was intolerable , to the point of us not being able to use the trailer washroom , and at points , causing us to gag when we opened the door .
It was said to me by William , that we would be supplied with bedding , this was true to a point , a dusty blanket and an old , used plastic bed covering was there for us , no sheets , no pillow cases , it was a sleepless , cold first night .
The other issue we had was the propane system , which malfunctioned on the and evening of our rental , where to we had to shut off the propane . During the night the propane filled the cabin and only due to my husband awaking to the smell , were we able to act in time and shut off the propane and open windows and doors to let the gas disperse, avoiding a tragic outcome .
To be fair though , all the pots and pans and cutlery and such was on board . The inside fridge and freezer worked well , as well as the outdoor fridge . All in all , out of 5 stars , I would give Williams rental 1 1/2 stars .
We had a very pleasant experience renting a trailer. Everything worked and we had a detailed inspection with the owner.
