We've fully equipped it with kitchen supplies, base bedding, mechanical add-ons and more, so you don't have to pack and bring items from home (see full list below). It boasts 27-feet of beautiful living space with extra-large windows (much larger than most trailers) and an extra-long slide-out for added space. Adults will be comfortable in the queen-sized-bed separate bedroom, with more storage than you'll need, AND we added a new ENDY mattress! The double-size bunks are ideal for younger family members. If you need even more space, the dinette converts into a bed for two and the couch folds open (great for watching movies at night). The modern kitchen comes with a propane stove and oven, microwave, farm style sink, large pantry (it's huge for a trailer!) and a full-size fridge. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and coffee/tea pods included. A 32-inch TV can be lifted and moved between indoors and outdoors. A 15-foot awning creates cover for an excellent sitting area and an amazing outdoor kitchen, with fridge, burners, a griddle, and (wait for it....) an ice maker! Second exterior entry to the bathroom means less dirt inside. (RV toilet paper MUST BE USED which we will supply.) Blue LEDs indoor and outdoor create great evening mood lighting. Good things come in small packages. This Sunray 109 trailer has it all. At only 14’ long and less than 1300 lbs, you can easily tow this trailer behind pretty much any truck or sport utility vehicle. Inside, there is a bed for two that folds up into a couch. The seating has been upgraded to include a softer mattress that will allow for greater comfort and a good night’s sleep. Adding to that, you’ll find both a gas heater and an electric air conditioner that will keep this trailer at your optimum temperature. If you are looking for some entertainment, the trailer comes with a permanent TV, and there is USB charging so you can bring your own devices. If music is more your style, the trailer has both interior and exterior speakers, a radio with FM/Bluetooth/AUX and a Sirius XM cradle. If you want a quieter night, you can always lay in bed and gaze out of the star window! And there’s more! The back of the trailer pops up to reveal a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and sink. With world-class excursions and the postcard-perfect Lake Ontario right on your doorstep, it’s easy to see why Toronto is one of Canada’s top tourist destinations.
Due to Toronto’s position within the densely-populated Golden Horseshoe region, you’ll have to travel away from the city to find somewhere quiet to rest up. The Bronte Creek Provincial Park campground, situated 29 miles (47 kilometres) away, is one of the most convenient RV campgrounds in Toronto. The campground is fairly basic, with sites that provide electrical hookups. While hookups are scarce, you’ll find plenty of amenities to make your stay more comfortable, including water taps, comfort stations, and laundry facilities. Bronte Creek Provincial Park also has loads of outdoor activities to keep your crew happy, including hiking, fishing, and disc golf.
If you’d prefer to stay slightly closer to the city, consider camping at Grangeways RV Park & Family Campground. This campground is located 45 miles (70 kilometres) from Toronto and features 300 sites with full hookups that allow 15/20/30-amp electricity. You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay here, including washrooms, laundry facilities, and a grocery store. When you’re not off exploring Toronto, work on your short game at the mini-putt golf course or go fishing in the nearby stream.
Alternatively, check out the campground at Fifty Point Conservation Area if you’re looking for somewhere to stay closer to the U.S. border. The campground is located between Hamilton and Niagara Falls on the edge of Lake Ontario, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sites come with full hookups and max-amp electricity.
