Our **2022 KZ Connect family bunkhouse** comes stocked with many of the everyday camping, kitchen, cleaning, and campsite essentials you’ll need for a comfortable stay. ### 🛏️ Sleeping & Comfort The KZ Connect offers a family-friendly sleeping layout with a private main sleeping area plus double bunks for children, teens, or additional guests. The camper includes: * Main sleeping area * Double-size bunk beds * Mattress protection * Climate-controlled interior * Air conditioning * Propane furnace for cooler nights * Window coverings for privacy * Interior lighting * USB/electrical charging areas * Laundry hampers for keeping the camper organized * Interior rugs and floor runners * Entry mat Guests should bring their own personal clothing, toiletries, and any specialty comfort items they prefer. ### 🍳 Fully Equipped Kitchen No need to pack your entire kitchen. We provide the basics for cooking and serving meals at the campsite. We provide the kitchen basics so you can make everything from pancakes and eggs in the morning to burgers, pasta, sandwiches, snacks, and family dinners in the evening. The toaster, pans, utensils, dishes, cups, cutting board, mixing bowls, and food-prep supplies mean you won’t have to buy disposable kitchenware for every trip. ### 🚿 Bathroom Your private camper bathroom means no midnight walk to the campground bathhouse. Our outdoor cooking and campsite supplies include: * BBQ spatula * BBQ tongs * Grill brush * Grill cleaner/scraper * BBQ bowl * Outdoor cooking organizer * Basic campsite tools * Flashlight * Axe Guests remain responsible for following campground fire rules and any seasonal burn restrictions. ### 🏕️ Campsite Setup Equipment This camper is equipped with the essential equipment needed to connect and operate at an appropriate campsite. Setup equipment includes: * 30-amp RV electrical connection * Shore-power cord * Fresh-water drinking hose * 90-degree city-water elbow * Sewer hose * Sewer connection fittings * Sewer-hose support * Wheel chocks * Leveling/setup equipment * Fresh-water system * Gray-water system * Black-water holding tank * Propane system * RV battery system For campsites with full hookups, we can connect the appropriate utilities as part of an eligible delivery/setup reservation. For primitive or partial-hookup sites, please tell us what services your campsite provides so we can help you determine what you’ll need. ### 💧 Water & Sewer Systems The KZ has an onboard fresh-water system for camping situations where a direct water hookup is unavailable, as well as gray- and black-water holding tanks. Depending on the campground and reservation, the camper can operate using: * City-water connection * Onboard fresh-water tank * Electric water pump * Gray-water holding tank * Black-water holding tank * Campground sewer connection where available Please provide your campground and campsite number whenever possible. Knowing whether your site has water, electric, sewer, or no hookups helps us prepare the camper properly for your stay. ### ⚡ Power The camper uses a **30-amp RV electrical system** and is designed to connect to a compatible campground electrical pedestal. When connected to appropriate shore power, guests can enjoy the camper’s electrical appliances and systems, including air conditioning. The camper also has a 12-volt battery system for appropriate RV functions when shore power is unavailable. If you are camping at a site without electricity, ask us about available generator options before your trip. ### ❄️ Heating & Air Conditioning Northern New York and Adirondack weather can change quickly. Warm afternoon? Turn on the air conditioning when appropriate electrical service is available. Cool Adirondack evening? The propane furnace can help keep the camper comfortable. Having both heat and air conditioning makes this camper a great option from spring through fall. ### 🌤️ Power Awning & Outdoor Living Extend your living space outside with the camper’s power awning. It creates a shaded area for: * Morning coffee * Family meals * Reading * Games * Relaxing after a day at the beach * Sitting outside during light summer weather For safety, the awning must be retracted during strong winds, storms, heavy rain, or whenever the camper is left unattended. ### 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-Friendly Layout We chose this camper because it works especially well for families. Instead of converting every seating area into a bed every night, the dedicated bunk area gives children or additional guests their own sleeping space.
