We had such a great experience this weekend. We spent two nights in George's RV and it was just perfect. The extra amenities were a nice touch. Wishing we had better weather, but everything within George's control was an A+. We look forward to renting again next fall!
We took this RV on a 2 week vacation from NC to ME and several stops in between. Just over 3000mi of towing altogether. RV performed just fine (we towed with an F350 diesel and barely knew it was behind us). George, the owner, is very friendly and easy going. Responded to all my questions and even accommodated me to view the RV before our trip so I can be comfortable that it would meet our needs. Although I would rate the overall experience as very good, one does need to know that this is a well used unit and as such does have noticeable wear and tear. As experienced RV campers, nothing was much of an issue for us, but for anyone new to RVing the little quirks of this unit may prove less than expected. For our purposes this trailer was perfect. It was just 2 of us and no pets. The bed is a standard residential Queen mattress with a foam topper. We found it to be very comfortable. The unit is fully stocked with all the linens and bedding you could possibly need (so much that we left some of it home). It also comes stocked with all the kitchen and cooking items you might need (though we used a lot of our own camping gear as a preference). The daily rate for this RV makes up for the minor shortcomings and was the best value for a long trip like ours. Overall, we would recommend this RV for any couple, especially due to George’s attentiveness, quick responses and willingness to accommodate his rental guests. Happy trails!
