Valens Lake Conservation Area - RV Camping in Hamilton, ON

Valens Lake Conservation Area is a 300-hectare campground managed by the Hamilton Conservation Authority, located in Flamborough, Ontario, within the city of Hamilton. Built around the Valens Reservoir, the property offers 225 campsites, including 125 with electrical and water hookups available seasonally from the May long weekend through Thanksgiving, along with walk-in and group camping areas. Campers enjoy a sandy swimming beach, over 10 kilometers of hiking trails, a 300-metre wetland boardwalk, and fishing docks stocked with bass, pike, perch, and panfish. Non-motorized boat rentals, including canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards, are available for exploring the lake, as gasoline motors are not permitted on the water. Each site includes a picnic table, propane barbecue, and fire pit, and Drumlin Cabins are available for those without their own camping gear. The park is alcohol-free year-round and maintains radio-free camping areas for a peaceful outdoor experience. Reservable from April 1 to October 31, Valens Lake Conservation Area is a family-friendly retreat just outside the Greater Toronto Area.
