RV rental for the Goodyear 400: Throwback Weekend Thrills at Darlington Raceway
There's nothing like watching stock cars battle it out on the track too tough to tame while parked just steps from the action. The Goodyear 400 brings NASCAR's Throwback Weekend to Darlington Raceway each spring, filling the infield with vintage paint schemes, tailgate smoke, and race-day energy. Rolling in with your own RV rental means comfort, flexibility, and a front-row seat to the community that makes this Cup Series weekend one of racing's most beloved traditions.
Rhoda was very easy to work with. Everything that was needed for our trip was there. We only had to pick up and drop off. Very smooth process!!

Very helpful throughout the entire process, booking to returns. Enjoyed the camper and the kind service. Would definitely rent again.

This was our family's first camping experience and thanks to Steve it was awesome. His camper was well equipped. The outside LEDs and Bluetooth connect radio were easy to use. Steve took the time to give me a whole run down of the operation. The RV towed very well. I can't say it enough- it was an easy experience and we had a blast. We will be renting from Steve again. Thank you so much!!!

Darlington Raceway, Darlington, SC, US
Darlington Raceway sits at 1301 Harry Byrd Highway in Darlington, South Carolina, about 15 minutes from Florence, where I-95 and I-20 meet, making it an easy stop whether you're driving in from the north, south, or west. Coming from Charlotte or the Upstate, take I-20 East toward Florence and follow signage for US-52 or SC-151 into Darlington; from Charleston or the coast, run I-26 West to I-95 North, then pick up SC-327 and US-52 North into town. Drivers coming from Columbia can stay on I-20 East to the US-401 exit and follow the well-marked signs straight to the track. Once you're close, race-week signage directs RVs to dedicated camping gates, so plan to arrive during the posted check-in windows rather than showing up at the last minute. Give yourself extra time on Saturday and Sunday mornings, since local roads around the track get busy as fans converge, and follow the traffic staff directing RV and camper traffic to the correct entrance. Once you're parked, you can leave the rig behind and walk to the grandstands or infield, no shuttle required.
