C.J. Brown Reservoir is an unlimited-horsepower lake with launch ramps and a marina inside the park. Boaters can access over 2,000 acres of open water for cruising, sailing, and waterskiing. Large paved lots near the ramps accommodate trucks with trailers.
The park operates a sandy public swim beach on the west shore of the reservoir. It is a popular family destination in summer with restrooms and a day-use picnic area nearby. Beach parking is large and level.
C.J. Brown Reservoir is stocked and known for walleye, saugeye, largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish. Shore-fishing access is available at several turnouts along the dam and causeway. Bank anglers can use the main boat ramp lots for oversize vehicle parking.
The park includes a network of hiking trails that pass through restored tallgrass prairie and hardwood woodlots. Trails are mostly flat with gentle terrain, suitable for most fitness levels. Trailhead parking near the campground can accommodate larger vehicles.
A multi-mile bridle trail loops through the northern portion of the park for equestrian use. Horseback riders can use a dedicated staging area with trailer parking. The trail also sees some shared hiking use outside of wet seasons.
Adjacent Crabill Fen protects a rare inland fen wetland ecosystem. Visitors can view unique plant communities and birdlife on a short interpretive walk. Parking is limited, so plan arrival in a tow vehicle rather than a large motorhome.
The park features an 18-hole disc golf course laid out across open meadows and light woods near the campground. It is free to play and suitable for beginners and casual players. Nearby lots provide RV-friendly parking close to the first tee.

We had an outstanding experience renting from Jonathan through RVezy. The RV was in excellent shape and carried our family all the way from Ohio to the Grand Canyon and the National Parks in Utah and back again. Everything worked perfectly, and when we had questions, Jonathan was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful. We wouldn’t change a single thing! We had the family vacation of our dreams.

Jonathan and Griselda were great to work with! Fast response to all my questions. The camper was great, clean, no issues at all. We had a great time and now our grandkids want us to by one. If we don't we will rent from them again.

Buck Creek State Park, OH, United States
The park entrance sits off State Route 4, about 10 minutes from downtown Springfield, roughly a 30 minute drive from Dayton, and a one hour drive from Columbus via I-70. Access is on flat, open highway with no tunnels or steep mountain grades, which is favorable for longer RVs and towable trailers. Watch for low-clearance bridges on secondary county roads if routing through rural areas. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Dayton International Airport, about 40 miles west.
