Late June through August is the prime window, when the beach and bathhouse are open, lake water is warm enough for swimming, and southern New Hampshire enjoys long, mild days. Weekends in July draw the biggest crowds, so early weekday arrivals give the calmest parking and picnic conditions. Early June and the week after Labor Day offer quieter visits, though some facilities may be limited or closed. The park is not a winter destination, as it closes outside the summer operating season.

The sandy swimming beach on Everett Lake is the main attraction at Clough State Park. A gradual entry, grassy lawns above the sand, and a nearby bathhouse make it family friendly on hot summer afternoons.
Shaded picnic tables and open grass areas make Clough a popular stop for family picnics and group outings. Restrooms and a large paved parking lot are steps from the tables.
Kayakers, canoeists, and stand-up paddlers can launch from the park's shoreline to explore the quiet reservoir. The lake's protected coves and forested banks suit beginners and casual paddlers.
Anglers cast from the shoreline or small boats for warm-water species common to New Hampshire reservoirs. A valid New Hampshire freshwater fishing license is required.
The wooded shoreline and open water of Everett Lake attract herons, waterfowl, and songbirds during the warm months. Quiet morning visits from the picnic area and boat launch offer the best viewing.
The adjacent Everett Dam is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and offers views of the earthen flood-control structure. Interpretive signs explain the dam's role on the Piscataquog River.

We had an amazing experience renting Tyler’s RV! We were blown away by how well kept, clean, and comfortable everything was. The RV had everything we could possibly need and then some! We didn’t have to bring anything. It was stocked with cups, plates, utensils, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, rugs for inside and outside, cleaning supplies, and many other thoughtful extras that made our stay incredibly easy and stress free. He also offered a package with a grill and the honey pot if needed. There were chairs available for us to use, as well as firewood. There were also plenty of games inside, which was a fun bonus and made the experience even better! I added the additional linen package which just made everything so easy! Plenty of sheets, pillows, towels, wash cloths, beach towels! Tyler was easy to communicate with he was timely and responsive. He made dropping off and picking up extremely easy as well and was on time for everything. You can truly tell that Tyler takes great pride in his RV and wants his guests to have the best experience possible. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and made our trip so enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better rental experience and would highly recommend Tyler and his RV to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, and worry-free getaway. We will definitely be renting from Tyler again!

Clough State Park, NH, United States
Clough State Park sits on River Road in Weare, roughly 20 miles (about 30 minutes) west of Manchester and about 25 miles (40 minutes) southwest of Concord via NH Route 114 and NH Route 77. The approach is on paved rural two-lane roads with no major mountain passes, tunnels, or weight-restricted bridges, which makes it straightforward for most Class A, Class C, and travel-trailer rigs. The final mile uses a narrower local road to the day-use parking lot, so drivers of longer rigs should use caution turning into the entrance. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT), about a 30-minute drive east.
