The park sits along Highway 7 on Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore, roughly a two hour drive (about 120 km) east of Halifax and about 40 minutes west of Sherbrooke. Highway 7 is a winding two-lane coastal route with some narrow shoulders and small bridges, so RV drivers should travel at moderate speeds and watch for moose, especially at dawn and dusk. There are no major tunnels or mountain passes on the approach, but fuel stops are spaced out, so top up in Halifax, Musquodoboit Harbour, or Sheet Harbour.
