The park is located on California Highway 1, approximately 35 miles north of San Luis Obispo (50-minute drive) and 29 miles west of Paso Robles via Highway 46. The town of Cambria is 10 miles south, offering supplies and services. San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is the closest major airport at 37 miles south. Monterey Regional Airport is about 94 miles north for additional fly-and-rent options. Highway 1 is a scenic but winding coastal road with steep grades through the Big Sur area; RVs are limited to 35 feet maximum length.
