Late spring through early fall, roughly May through September, is the most popular window for RV travel, with warm lake temperatures, open beaches, and full campground services. July and August deliver the warmest swimming and boating conditions but also the largest weekend crowds and the most humid weather. Shoulder months like May and September often bring milder temperatures, fewer bugs, and easier campsite availability. Winter visits are possible for day use, but expect cold temperatures and limited services.

It's was wonderful. They took care of set up and break down, the delivery fee is very much worth it if you don't have a truck. This made the trip stress free. Cute and comfortable, they had everything you could ask for. I would recommend and book again! Great communication, easy to work with 5 stars across the board!

Lake Manawa State Park, IA, United States
The park sits on the south side of Council Bluffs, Iowa, just off Interstate 80 and South 24th Street, and is roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive from downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Des Moines is about 130 miles east, around two to two and a half hours via I-80, and Sioux City is about 100 miles north via I-29. The terrain is flat Missouri River bottomland, so there are no mountain passes, major tunnels, or steep grades to worry about for RVs, though drivers should watch for low railroad and street underpasses in older parts of Council Bluffs and Omaha. Eppley Airfield in Omaha is the nearest major airport for fly-and-rent travelers, about a 15 minute drive from the park.
