Late May through early October is the prime window for RV travel, with warm days, a fully open campground, and an operating swimming beach. The camper was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. This is the 2nd time we rented from mike and he is very accommodating. Next time ill have to remember not to pack so much. They even thought of is when the nights got cold and brought us another propane tank, just in case, and we didnt even have to ask. Thanks Mike, for another wonderful fall adventure.

Laurel Hill State Park, PA, United States
The park is reached via PA Route 31 and Trent Road, about 10 miles west of Somerset, Pennsylvania, and roughly 65 miles southeast of Pittsburgh (about 90 minutes by RV via the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 110). Johnstown is about 45 miles north, and Cumberland, Maryland, is roughly 60 miles south. RV drivers should note that the final approach along Trent Road and Laurel Hill Park Road is a winding two-lane route with rolling grades through the Laurel Ridge, so large rigs should drive it slowly and avoid it after fresh snow. Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the most convenient airport for fly-and-rent RV trips.
