Late June through August offers the warmest ocean temperatures and the most reliable weather for beach days, which is the main reason most RVers visit. Early July to mid-August is peak season, so reservations are strongly recommended for serviced sites. Shoulder weeks in mid-June and early September bring cooler nights but thinner crowds and easier site selection. The park does not operate in winter, so RV trips are limited to the summer season.

Murray Beach is a long, sandy Northumberland Strait beach with supervised swimming during peak season. The shallow, sun-warmed water is popular with families, and the beach offers wide views across to Prince Edward Island.
The park sits within sight of the Confederation Bridge, providing an excellent vantage point for photos of the 12.9 km span to PEI. An easy walk along the shoreline brings the full length of the bridge into view.
Cape Jourimain Nature Centre is a nearby National Wildlife Area with boardwalks, a lighthouse, and interpretive exhibits about the Northumberland Strait ecosystem. It sits at the New Brunswick foot of the Confederation Bridge and has a large parking lot suitable for RVs.
The park's day-use area offers picnic tables, shade trees, and direct beach access. It is a convenient stop for RVers travelling between New Brunswick and PEI who want a midday break.
Low tide exposes sandbars, shells, and small tidepools along the Murray Beach shoreline. The gentle slope makes it an easy activity for children and casual walkers.
The surrounding coastal communities of Port Elgin, Bayfield, and Cape Tormentine offer short scenic drives past working wharves, farmland, and coastal viewpoints. Roads are paved and suitable for RVs.
Route 955 along the strait is a quiet paved coastal road popular for casual cycling. Riders can pedal from the park toward Cape Jourimain or Port Elgin for ocean views throughout.
Was exactly as described. Really easy to deal with

Murray Beach Provincial Park, NB, Canada
The park sits along Route 955 on the Northumberland Strait coast, about a 45 to 60 minute drive east of Moncton via Highway 2 and Highway 16 toward Cape Tormentine. The Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island is only a few kilometres away, making Murray Beach a natural stopover for RVers crossing to or from PEI. Note that the Confederation Bridge charges a toll for eastbound travel off the island and restricts certain oversized loads, so RV travellers should confirm height and weight allowances before crossing. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport.
