The Natural Falls Overlook is a short paved path leading to a wooden observation deck at the top of the 77-foot waterfall. The walk is suitable for most visitors and provides the park's signature view into the fern-lined gorge.
The Falls Trail descends a staircase and boardwalk system to a viewing platform at the base of the waterfall. Expect stairs and elevation change on the return climb, but the distance is short.
This wooded loop trail connects the overlook area with the campground and winds through Ozark hardwood forest. It offers a quiet hike with rolling terrain and interpretive signage along the way.
Shaded picnic tables and reservable group shelters are located near the waterfall parking area and around the day-use zone. Shelters are a popular option for family gatherings and cookouts.
The park offers a sand volleyball court and a basketball court near the main day-use area. These are free to use on a first-come basis and are within easy walking distance of the campground loops.
A small stocked pond inside the park provides catch-and-release fishing for bass, bluegill, and catfish. Anglers age 16 and older need a valid Oklahoma fishing license.
Natural Falls features a wooded disc golf course that winds through the park's upland forest. Bring your own discs; the layout is moderate and suitable for casual and experienced players.
We stayed over Memorial Day weekend with our family and had the BEST experience! We rented an RV for 3 adults and 3 kids, and it was the perfect size with plenty of room for everyone. Everything was super clean and fully stocked — pillows, bedding, and honestly anything you could possibly need was included. But our absolute favorite part was the outdoor kitchen. I genuinely don’t think we can ever rent an RV again without one now! The griddle was AMAZING and made cooking so easy and fun. We’ve officially become bougie RV campers now. 😂 Could not have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Natural Falls State Park, OK, United States
The park sits just off U.S. Highway 412 near the town of Colcord, about 40 miles east of Tulsa (roughly a one-hour drive) and about 15 miles west of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Fayetteville, Arkansas is approximately 50 miles east, about one hour by road. The closest commercial airport for fly-and-rent trips is Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA), about 45 minutes away, with Tulsa International Airport (TUL) as a larger alternative. RV drivers should note that U.S. 412 is a divided highway with rolling Ozark grades and that the park entrance road is short but winding, so take the posted turns slowly with longer rigs.
